In 2016, Serendipity Studio participated in the project collaboration platform launched by X-Site Project and discovered that design is the realization of serendipity, where creative opportunities emerge from the unforeseen and unexpected. Leveraging our experience in cloud-based mobility, Serendipity Studio continues to connect educators, designers, artists, and artisans through a "collaborative creativity platform." The portfolio of Serendipity Studio revolves around spatial design, including academic research projects, interior design, installation arts, product design, curation, and material research. The team is a diverse, spontaneous, and unbounded blend of talents.
The SELF Ltd. works meticulously on reading, field surveys, research, and planning when crafting and curating their own exhibitions, events, forums, and workshops. In the hands of The SELF, intricate subjects are unraveled adeptly, and the subtle nuances and hidden details within shine out. The greatest joy, for The SELF, is to be engaged with the public and fostering meaningful communication.

With grand art installations, artifact collections, and interactive activities, "When Mountains and Rivers Start" showcases the biodiversity of this belt-shaped city along with the design-driven vitality it nurtures. "Into the Mountains and Rivers" features a towering three-dimensional installation, mirroring the grandeur of New Taipei's landscape and providing visitors with a nature-centric sensory experience. The materials used in this work are sourced from New Taipei's abundant geological and ecological resources.
Next, "Rediscovered Explorers" asks visitors to venture into the depths and poles of mountains, rivers, and oceans, and discover New Taipei in the linear exhibition hall. Different thematic axes and the objects they epitomize are mapped into a rich network which depicts New Taipei's natural diversity, culinary styles, religious cultures, artisanal craftsmanship, and local cultures. Interactive experiences are offered, leading visitors to formulate their own New Taipei lifestyles.
