Established in 2013, Art Happening specializes in narrative study, articulating fleeting memories about objects in the visual language of contemporary art and design. Through the reinterpretation of issues, Art Happening creates new contexts, inviting viewers to resonate with new understandings of the reinterpretation of issues in question and themselves and explore the different dimensions of the issue-based curation. By exploring the diverse possibilities at the intersection of culture, creativity, and design, Art Happening aims to foster a closer connection between arts and culture and the broader audience.
Established in 2016, CONCENTRIC PRODUCTION embodies a convergence of talents from various fields, akin to concentric circles radiating from a central core, only with different radiuses. Adopting an integrative approach to design, CONCENTRIC PRODUCTION delivers comprehensive services encompassing brand integration, visual design, exhibition planning, space design, and film production.
As the saying once went, "Tainan the First, Lugang the Second, and Xingzhuang the Third"? Xingzhuang, one of New Taipei City's earliest settlements, thrived thanks to its harbor and developed temple street and traditional markets, attracting wealth and merchants and making its own glorious history. Although the harbor was abandoned due to siltation, the temple street and traditional markets remain etched in the memories of local residents throughout the years. The first public market in Xingzhuang was established in 1975 and underwent modernization in 2009 to cater to the needs of the fast-growing population. Plans for its transformation into a mall complex by 2029 are in progress.
The diverse facets of Xingzhuang are amalgamated here to portray a scene of a vibrant and dynamic community. Visitors are encouraged to brainstorm ways to infuse fresh commercial elements into these traditional markets and contemplate the role of the community and its connection with local culture.
